Beam Dynamics has appointed Brian Mauger as Regional Sales Manager, North America, strengthening its commercial team as the company expands across media, broadcast, live event and enterprise operations in the region. In his new role, he will work with organizations that need clearer control of their assets, contracts, utilization, maintenance and cost forecasting.
“What pulled me in was the clear vision from the leadership team, a customer list I've worked with for years and a product demo that genuinely impressed me,” said Mauger. “After a decade leading growth at SHOFLO, Beam felt like exactly the right next chapter. Media and content teams have grown quickly over the past five years, and they are being asked to manage a more complex mix of hardware and software assets. Decisions around utilization, maintenance and cost forecasting are only as good as the data behind them, and that is exactly where Beam delivers.”
He brings more than 15 years of sales and customer growth experience, including over a decade in event production technology. He previously helped build SHOFLO from the ground up, and later supported customers through acquisition and transition under Cvent and LASSO.
“Brian brings the experience we need at this stage of Beam’s growth,” said David Kaszycki, CEO and Co-Founder of Beam Dynamics. “He understands the complexity of managing media and production environments, and he understands the role system integrators and channel partners play in that market. Enterprise customers are committing to a platform that can sit at the center of how they manage millions of dollars in assets and contracts for years, so we needed a leader who could speak credibly to operations, finance and IT in the same conversation.”
The appointment comes as North American enterprise teams place greater focus on asset lifecycle, warranty, contract and capital planning as one connected business problem, rather than a set of separate tasks managed across spreadsheets and siloed systems. Beam is also seeing growing opportunity through its system integrator and channel partner network, with partners using the platform internally, supporting customer deployments and extending it into more enterprise environments.
“Most teams are budget constrained while being asked to manage an increasingly complex estate of gear,” Kaszycki continued. “Nobody got into this industry to wrangle spreadsheets and chase down asset data. Having a real system of record turns one of the most painful parts of the job into something manageable. For me, the win is putting a tool in people’s hands that makes their daily work meaningfully easier.”
