Why teams switch

Asset management that understands the equipment.

Generic asset tools stop at a name and a serial number. Broadcast and AV estates need more: kits and racks, licenses and support contracts, bookings and repairs, and the manufacturer facts behind every model.

Beam brings all of it onto one record that every team works from, so operations, engineering, finance and security stop keeping their own lists.

  • Devices, licenses and services

Cameras, consoles, displays, software and support, tracked the same way.

  • Manufacturer data built in

Specifications, manuals, warranty terms and lifecycle dates filled in as you add equipment.

  • Located down to the rack

Up to seven levels of location, from site to room to rack, with availability and assignee.

  • Every change on record

A timestamped history of every update, scan, booking and fix, on the web or the mobile app.

One inventory for everything you run

Bring every asset type into one table you can filter, sort, edit in bulk and save as views for each team, with your own fields and statuses.

  • Track any asset type
  • Custom fields and statuses, 17 field types
  • Advanced and saved filters
  • Mass edit and quick actions
  • Table, kanban, calendar and timeline views
  • Custom reporting, export to PDF or CSV

Questions

Asset management, answered.

Something else? Ask us

What is asset management software for broadcast and AV?

It is a system of record for the equipment, licenses and services behind productions, venues and workplaces: what you own, where it is, who has it, what covers it and what has happened to it. Beam adds what generic tools miss, such as kits and racks, reservations, service tickets and verified manufacturer data.

How is Beam different from a spreadsheet or a generic IT asset tool?

A spreadsheet holds a list; Beam holds a connected record. Each asset links to its location, assignee, bookings, tickets, contracts and manufacturer data, and every change is logged. Each team works from saved views of the same data instead of its own copy.

What kinds of assets can Beam track?

Physical devices such as cameras, consoles, displays and servers, software licenses and subscriptions, and services such as support and connectivity. Serialized assets are tracked unit by unit, and cables, batteries and other bulk items by quantity.

How do we get our existing equipment lists into Beam?

Send the lists you have: spreadsheets, exports, serials, locations and rack positions. Beam cleans and loads them, matches each line to manufacturer data, and your first site is live within weeks.

Does it work in the field?

Yes. The iOS and Android apps work on the same records as the web, with barcode and QR scanning for check-in, check-out and updates on the spot.

How is Beam priced?

A foundation priced on the value of what you manage, plus the operational modules you choose. Unlimited users, single sign-on, the mobile apps and support are included, with no per-seat pricing.

See your own equipment in Beam.

Send us an equipment list and we will load a sample of it into a live demo.
