Beam's MCP server enables AI based workflows to interact with your Beam studio.
Setup instructions
Beam provides official connectors/plugins for select AI assistants. Manual installation instructions are detailed below.
NOTE: Beam MCP currently has limited support for AI assistants using Dynamic Client Registration ( DCR ) or CIMD for authentication, and will only accept verified connections.
Claude
Install the Beam connector for Claude. Follow Claude's instructions to add a connector.
ChatGPT
The official OpenAI connector is in review and will be available soon.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
The official Microsoft 365 Copilot connector is in review and will be available soon.

What you can do
Beam is adding support for new tools often. We have deliberately omitted tools that delete resources, but in most cases, searching and updating resources is supported.
